TBF 2020 Rob’s Wrap Up
In what has been a testing year, we have had a good sales season, with all bar two of our 20 horse draft at Melbourne Prem finding new homes. Making the decision last year to solely sell at Melbourne Premier with two fillies for Easter was easy at the time, but we are grateful that we were able to sell when we did. Who knew what was to come! However this industry is resilient, and we were still able to sell our two lovely fillies at Easter Online which was history making, and the experience to be a part of that will be with us for ever. In 2020 we were able to sell some nice horses to a larger and diverse buying bench and we are grateful for everyone's support of the farm and the horses that are coming off it. We have had another good start from last years' Melb Prem with the Mike De Cock trained Mount Pleasant winning two Grp 2’s in South Africa. We are very grateful for the support shown to us by long term clients Makybe Breeding and Racing, Hill Holme Lodge who bred Easy Eddie, Catalana Pastoral and many more. We look forward to again presenting a lovely group of horses at sale in 2021.
