Rob Carlile has been our dedicated farm manager for over 10 years, and the photo above perfectly captures his love for horses and his positive nature. Rob’s journey in the industry began at just 14, when he took on summer work experience at Fulmen Park, prepping yearlings in exchange for a pair of boots. During this time, he formed a special bond with a Danzero filly who later topped the Magic Millions Yearling Sales, giving him an unforgettable buzz. Mentored by Lee Powell and Steve Lalor, Rob spent the next four summers at Fulmen Park, deepening his passion for horses year after year.

His career took off when he joined Darley, spending four years overseeing and caring for some of the world’s top stallions, including Street Cry, Dubawi, Shamardal, and Exceed and Excel. Returning to Victoria, Rob spent four years at Three Bridges, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of farm management. This broad exposure equipped him with a wide range of skills and the confidence to expand his horizons internationally which led to an exciting job with the very progressive Tweenhills Farm in the UK.
