Thoroughbreds are in Sophie Titter’s blood. Growing up around racing stables in New Zealand and influenced by her family’s involvement in the industry across England and America, Sophie developed a deep passion for horses early on. Her career began at just 16, working for Turangga Farm (John Ramsey) and attending the Sydney Easter Sales. She gained further experience with top operations like Toolooganvale, Newgate Farm, and back to John Ramsey Racing, where she advanced to foreman.

In July 2023, Sophie joined Two Bay Farm, bringing a wealth of hands-on expertise in broodmare care, foaling, and yearling preparation. She’s driven by a passion for raising future champions and mentoring the next generation of industry professionals. Sophie’s dedication has even earned her an industry award, recognising her commitment to the well- being and development of thoroughbreds. Her favourite part of the job? Foaling down mares and handling the young horses, especially the Nudge/Zoustar filly, who she describes as “sweet with a bit of spice.”
